Has anyone else ever had a song (with lyrics) that they really like, but either couldn't find the lyrics or there were lines missing?

I've been like that a lot too. In that case, I usually write down the text as I hear it
That's basically all of my unfinished track goes...
I have a really hard time understanding text in speech alone, so no way I can do it when sung!
