Real talk though, the more I think about it, the more I am concerned about it due to moderation purposes. If you are a one-person moderation team, it would definitely be easier keeping to this forum-style system.
Definitely a way to simulate the period of when the IM system was glitchy. Btw, nice that you added the feature of the comment has been removed. Nice touch, since I didn't expect that. Also, maybe add a way to switch the order of the posts so that the older posts on top and newer posts are on the bottom.
Also, can you add some way to view older posts? There seems to be a limit, and the only way to view them is to put the number on the post link.
ctrl+enter to send the message; maybe reveal date and time of posting and commenting, or a slider in the settings for that; avatar select option based on Cytus II's iM avatar set; ...
Yeah, it's easier to just do forum style, unless I recruit a mod team or sth
