Sometimes I really want to look like my favourite fictional characters, but the body I'm given is far from being close to looking like the fictional characters whose appearance I find pleasing! Even if i were to put on full make up and wear a 1:1 replica of their uniform I wouldn't even be close to looking like them or looking good at all. Should I change my composure to match my given look or should I find a new roster of characters that I like or what.
Being grateful is hard sometimes. Thoughts?
Take my advice with a grain of salt, but I think it's perfectly fine to want to imitate whatever fictional characters you want. For example, changing your hairstyle, or wearing different clothes/accessories, or changing the way you speak or your mannerisms. This can be really fun! I do this too. However, wanting to imitate fictional characters shouldn't make you insecure about your body. The great thing about drawn characters is that different artists and cosplayers can change their designs to suit them. You can do that with how you present yourself as well.
@slaughteredvomitdollSyd thanks for the great advice! ill try tinkering here and there to see what suits best. (≧▽≦)
