I think we should (partially) switch back to paper.
The capabilities and significance of modern technologies like drones and well, artificial intelligence are becoming exceedingly prominent in these days and ages. Solutions on how to deter modern technologies' influence are already being made due to fear, but one may question oneself whether there exists an action in which human beings may achieve a better outcome. Turns out it would be unreasonably pricey in order for artificial intelligence to be conveyed on paper without human hands. For instance, a decent large language model requires at least a powerful computer and a constant power supply just to think. It also needs a body versatile enough to control a pen or pencil like humans do. Therefore, (correct me if I'm wrong), we should use paper more! (and plant more trees of course). I still use paper for my art !!! And note-taking, occasionally ~~ While technology has really advanced in recent times, it's true that there are some things where artificial intelligence isn't able to replace, but paper has been slowly getting harder to come by (；ω；) not only we should only plant more trees for making paper, but we should plant trees for the sake of our environment as well ~~
At the risk of sounding like a curmudgeonly old man, there's just some things modern technology can't replace. The feeling of flipping through physical pages is one of them.
if i'm writing music at a piano i nearly always have manuscript with me, i find it so much easier to put notes straight to paper than wrangle with notation software (especially when coming up with ideas)
