Also why are there theories for it's name being based on a Latin word of carnis which means flesh, while the other one is corone or coronation as it was used in flowe crowns and garlands which is better in my opinion -------------------------------------------------- The carnation meaning are these Devotion ------------------------------------- Carnations are the perfect choice for those about to tie the knot as they represent devotion. Love ------------------------------------------- Following on from devotion, carnations also symbolise love. They’d be perfect to give to that lovable, quirky person in your life.
