From now on, I'll be in charge of managing yours and every Operator's health at Rhodes Isla- cough apologies for that anyways today's flower is the hibiscus as @gunvyGunvy asked me for on the last flower fact. -------------------------------------------------- Hibiscus is a genus of common flowering plants in the mallow family, Malvaceae. The genus is quite large, comprising several hundred species that are native to warm temperate, subtropical and tropical regions throughout the world. Member species are renowned for their large, showy flowers and those species are commonly known simply as "hibiscus", or less widely known as rose mallow. -------------------------------------------------- The Hibiscus flower meaning is layered and multifaceted. At its core, it represents transient beauty and the importance of living in the moment. The hibiscus flower blooms for a short time, often just one day, reminding us of the impermanence of life and the need to cherish every moment. It is also linked to grace, femininity, and delicacy. It is often associated with romantic appeal, particularly in cultures where the flower is worn as a symbol of attraction or love. The Hibiscus encourages mindfulness and appreciation for the present, with the end goal of reminding people of the transitory beauty of nature and time. -------------------------------------------------- The spiritual meaning of the Hibiscus flower goes way deeper into themes of transformation, balance, and renewal. This flower is often seen as a connector between the physical and spiritual worlds. Its lucid energy is said to uplift spirits and inspire inner growth.
In spiritual practices, the Hibiscus is a symbol of fertility and divine feminine. Its abundant, open petals are thought to mirror the cycles of life and creation. The hibiscus is also associated with the heart chakra, representing love, compassion, and emotional healing. -------------------------------------------------- And now for the meanings of the colors

But thanks to my boss showing me about the different flowers in the shop I learned to appreciate every little thing and I want to share it with everyone here. "rose mallow"? they don't look like roses, at least I don't think they do..
@aviseapA4per That common name could be referring to the five petals and the showy nature of the flowers. Wild single-flowered roses can look similar to hibiscus.
